Ap Uses Not Mentioned- *New*
Here are the Ap Amounts of some things not mentioned.
Running 1 Yard- .1 Ap (So when you first start, you can only run 10 yards per turn, though once your Agility increases, you could find a special move that allows you to run larger distances faster)
Getting Up After Falling Down- .15 Ap
Speaking- 0 Ap
Eating/Pulling out an item- .1 Ap
Finding A Fight- *New*
If you want to battle something, just make a topic and say your looking for enemies, and I'll send them at you.
Stats-
Stats are important to the forum. They tell you how much Health you have, and how strong you are.
Stamina- This DOES NOT, tell you how much Health you have. But it does help to an extent.
Strength- This tells you how strong you are, the more Strength you have, the more powerful moves you can do.
Agility- This tells you how fast you are. The faster you are than an opponet, the more likely you are to dodge an attack.
Melee- This is sort of a mix between Strength and Agility. Similar to karate, how well can your character move.
Magic Control- This is how well your understand Magic, and how well you can use it.
Defense- This won't be very often upgraded. The number of points you have on your defense, it the number of points an attack towards you gets decreased by. For Example..
A punch does 2 damage. You have a defense of 1. The punch only does 1 damage.
If your defense if 5 times that of the attack, the enemy recieves 1 damage. If it's 10 times, than 2, and so on. For Example..
A punch does 1 damage. You have a defense of 5. The punch does 0 damage, and the puncher has 1 damage done to it.
Element Knowledge- This won't get upgrades to often. For every point you recieve, whether it be Pyro Knowledge, Frost Knowledge, or Ghost Knowledge; you go up a level in that element. Allowing yourself to use stronger elements.
Melee Accuracy- This is how well you can land your pyshical attacks.
Magic Accuracy- This is how well you can land your magic-based attacks.
Health Points (Hp)- This is how much Health you have. Everyone starts out with around 10.
Magic Points (Mp)- This is how much Magic you have. Everyone starts out with around 10.
Action Points (Ap)- This is how much you can do in one turn. (This only counts if your in a battle) Everyone starts out with around 1 Ap. All moves and weapons will tell you how many Ap it takes to perform it.
*IMPORTANT*
-For every 15 Stamina you recieve 1 Hp, for every 15 Strength, you recieve 1 Hp, and for every 15 Melee, you recieve 1 Hp. But make sure you understand THIS- The first two stats that reach 15 points will allow you to get the Hp. But the third stat that reaches 15, you DON'T get the 1 Hp. And this continues for 30, 45, 60, 75, and so on.
-For every 15 Stamina you recieve 1 Mp, for every 15 Agility, you recieve 1 Mp, and for every 15 Magic Control, you recieve 1 Mp. But make sure you understand THIS- The first two stats that reach 15 points will allow you to get the Mp. But the third stat that reaches 15, you DON'T get the 1 Mp. And this continues for 30, 45, 60, 75, and so on.
-For every 50 points on your TOTAL stats, this means you add your Stamina, Strength, Agility, Melee, and Magic Control together and if it shows you have 50, 100, 150, or so on, you gain .1 Ap. Yes, that's right, .1, not 1, .1, we clear?
The amount of Ap it costs to do something, will be on the weapon, or skill. So don't worry.
Melee Accuracy, to get that number, add your Melee and Agility together, and divide by 2.
Magic Accuracy, to get that number, add your Magic Control and Agility together and divide by 2.
There's more to it than that however.
Element Rules-
There are 9 main elements. Pyro(Fire), Aqua(Water), Frost(Ice), Shock(Electricty), Nature, Wind, Sound, Earth, and Ghost.
Each Element has weakness and strengths.
Slightly Good- This means the Element does 50% more damage to that Element, and it takes 25% less damage from an attack of that element.
Slightly Bad- This means the Element takes 50% more damage from that Element, and it deals 25% less damage from an attack of that element.
Good- This means the Element does 100% more damage to that Element, and it takes 50% less damage from an attack of that element.
Bad- This means the Element takes 100% more damage from that Element, and it deals 50% less damage from an attack of that element.
Of course, this usually only occurs when facing an Enemy that has an Element. And the same for you if you get attacked by an Element.
Eventually there will be other elements. Such as Darkness, Light, and Metal.
Battling-
In a fight, you have to fight fair. You can't start God Modding and dodge everything that comes your way. Which is one of the reasons why I included features such as Ap, and Agility. So if someone has triple the Agility as you, you can expect that you won't be landing many hits on them.
Make sure you have at LEAST two lines of post. And Keep Track of Your Own Hp, Ap, and Mp. I can't stress that enough. Make sure you keep track of them, and at the end of your post, tell everyone how much Hp and Mp you have. As for Ap, it returns back to normal every turn.
And after making an attack, make sure you say how much damage it does, but do it at the end of the post.
And if your Battling with another Player, make sure you have someone to watch your fight so no cheating goes on. This means that the order of the fight goes like this.
Player 1-
Player 2-
Admin/Mod-
Player 1-
Player 2-
Admin/Mod-
And so on. If there's another Player then that's fine, it'll go, 1, 2, 3, then Admin/Mod.
*New*
At the beginning of a fight, place your stats (Hp, Mp, Ap, Stamina, Agility, Strength, Melee, Magic Control), that way we'll both know your stats without having to go back and forth between your profile.
Make sure to count up how much Ap you spend. At the end of your post, tell us how much Ap you used, and what you did, and how much Ap it cost.
It's ok to make mistakes. That's how you learn.
